Controls: WASD to move, SPACE to activate damage zone. Damage the enemy by passing through it while the damage zone is active. The enemy’s damage zone can also harm you.
A small prototype where I tested how to make a simple enemy feel more alive.
There’s also a light theme behind the game: the enemy can be seen as resistance - something you deal with over time rather than instantly. This also ties into the title The Only Way Is Up: even when you face setbacks or pressure, progress happens step by step, gradually moving forward and upward.
